Uncle Poodle Calls Out Mama June: ‘She’s Lying’ About Relationship With Mark McDaniel

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Uncle Poodle has spoken out against Mama June's recent interview with Dr. Phil. June assured that she has not rekindled her romance with child sex-offender Mark McDaniel, who allegedly abused her eldest daughter Anna Marie Cardwell. But Poodle, brother of Sugar Bear insists he has seen the pair cuddling up and insistied that his former sister-in-law is lying.

June has denied time and time again that McDaniel is back in her life, but in another interview with Dr. Phil, Poodle says the reality star is covering their relationship up. In an exclusive clip, obtained by People, he tells Phil: “The truth on the whole thing is June is lying. She tells everyone that [she and Mark McDaniel] haven't seen each other and that the photos are photoshopped. It's a big lie."

He later recalled meeting Mark for the first time. "[Mama June] came to me to go look at houses. It was on September 9. I drove her up and she said she wanted to meet a friend. I took her to meet Mark. I did not know who Mark was in the beginning. I think it was the first time she had seen him since he got out of prison."

Poodle says they were joined by Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo, real name Alana Thompson, adding: "When we got there, we all got out," he says, "Pumpkin was with us with Alana. We were talking, having a good time. Well, Alana, Mark, and June disappeared for a few minutes.

"That weekend we were together, [Mama June and Mark] acted like [a couple.] They were all lovey-dovey in the back seat, holding hands and kissing each other."

The hit TLC series, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was cancelled by the network as details of June Shannon's relationship with Mark came to light. Speaking to Dr. Phil, Shannon admitted that she has seen McDaniel twice, but assured that one of those time they didn't say one word to each other. The second time they met it was on the request of her 14-year-old daughter Pumpkin, who she says had questions for her ex, who helped to raise the teenager as a child.

“I'm not a perfect parent. I made a mistake," she told Phil. “ But I want you to know that I'm not in a relationship with Mark McDaniel. I'm not in a relationship at all."
