The First Game Of Thrones Season Five Teaser Has Finally Landed!

So, we have the most exciting news you'll hear all week, or if you're us, all month. The season five trailer for Game Of Thrones is finally upon us and it comes with a load of mind-boggling tweets to keep us speculating until its 2015 premiere. Along with the preview, fans have also been left pondering over a new website which has also been launched in the build up to next year's nail-biting return, but what on earth does it all mean?

The short clip follows Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams who appears to have some sort of vision. “I see a darkness in you,” the line from season three is heard from the voice of Carice Van Houten's character, Melisandre. Chilling stuff!

Unveiling the preview on Twitter, the official Game of Thrones page accompanied the clip with a string of cryptic tweets. The video's caption tells viewers to “Follow the Three Eyed Raven. Gain the power of #TheSight."

If that hasn't got you scratching your heads then this might. A new website has launched too at ThreeEyeRaven.com, where subscribers can “receive visions of the sight,” either via Twitter or SMS and will be sent direct notifications from the show. We now have the power of the sight and if you're a huge Game of Thrones fan then we suggest you unlock it too.

Season five trailer for Game of Thrones (HBO)

Last season we saw Bran chase the Three Eyed Raven beyond the Wall. But, he's not meant to be appearing in the next season as his story is pretty much up-to-date with the George RR Martin existing books. We have so many questions!

There's still no date from HBO as to when Game of Thrones will be returning to screens, but it is expected to premiere in spring 2015. Until then we'll just have to follow the Three Eyed Raven. Watch the cryptic teaser for Game of Thrones Season five below…
