Nick Jonas Says ‘Sex Is Important For A Healthy Life’

Not that long ago Nick Jonas was that teen in the Jonas Brothers who had the killer voice, ridiculously cute curls and was way against sex before marriage, but in a recent interview with Attitude magazine it seems Nick's wholesome Jonas Brother tag is well and truly a thing of the past...

He might have worn a purity ring during his band days, but it looks like Jonas has become quite a fan of some under the sheets action in his twenties, for more reason than one.

"Sex is such an important part of a healthy life, in the sense that it's such an intrinsic part of who you are. When your sex life is not healthy you resort to other things as an outlet," the heartthrob revealed.

There's no denying Nick has come along way since his Jonas Brothers days, and unlike some teen stars it doesn't seem like the Kingdom star has had too much trouble transitioning into adulthood. When asked about how he managed to ditch his tween image, the 22-year-old said, "I think it had to happen naturally for me over time. Over the course of years it probably developed, and I thought I had to be okay with out I was and what I wanted to show the world, and thoughts and ideas and opinions change over time.

"Back in the days with my brothers I think I put more pressure on myself than I should have. I wasn't enjoying the moments as much as I could've. So this time around, at the core I've told myself to enjoy the ride and have fun with it, and don't stress over the little things."

But despite rising to fame at a young age, the actor has never been seen stumbling out of nightclubs or getting in to trouble with the law like so many other teens, cough, Justin Bieber, cough, something Nick puts down to gratefulness. "I think it's a combination of a few things; the first being that I always felt really fortunate being in the position I was in. I was still growing as an artist as I was getting popularity and success so I took it more as, you know, I'm really lucky to be here and I want to learn as much as possible – and just be really grateful for it.

"And I did it with my family and had that sort of care and support throughout the whole process. But there are moments when you're like, "I'm definitely going to lose my mind," that it's all too much."
