Putting on a great show for the Sochi audience, Team USA defeated Russia in hockey on Saturday (February 15).

Cam Fowler and Joe Pavelski each scored a point during the game to tie with the rival and the tie forced a good ol' fashioned shootout.

Stepping up to the plate for the Americans was T.J. Oshie, who scored four times in the shootout, winning in the eighth round.

The hardfought and close game kept fans on the edge of their seats, including Russian president Vladimir Putin, who was in attendance.
