Hoping to gain on its success in season one, Netflix has just announced the season two premiere date for "Orange is the New Black."

The prison drama, which is based on a true story, will return on Friday, June 6.

Adding to the excitement, the first teaser trailer for the new season was also released at the same time. Check it out in the player below.

Excited for the new season, actress Danielle Brooks told E! News, "We're having a blast! I mean, the writing was amazing before and it has gotten even better, I don't know how they made it happen but it's really good. I think that people are going to be so excited about season two."
