She has always been an advocate for animal rights, and on Tuesday (August 6), Khloe Kardashian announced she will team up with the World Wildlife Fund to raise money to protect endangered species.

In a video for the cause, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” cutie explains why she is so passionate about the charity, saying, "I have always been a lover of exotic cats -- leopard, tigers, lions, you name it. And I never knew how almost to extinction that tigers were in the wild."

She continued, "As soon as I found out that information, which was just a few years ago, I really became passionate about just having a voice and letting people know that we need to protect our wildlife."

Offering further incentive to her fans to get involved, the television personality will award a trip to Los Angeles and a $500 shopping spree to one lucky Twitter follower, with the winner chosen from those who donate at least $3 to the campaign.
