Claire Danes was one of the lucky stars at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards. The 32-year-old actress, who has already had two Golden Globes on her trophy collections, added another one this year for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama, thanks to her role in "Homeland" as a CIA operations officer, Carrie Mathison.

Claire recalled her first Golden Globe win when delivering her acceptance speech, saying, "I first won this award when I was 15 for 'My So-Called Life'." Stating that she forgot to thank her parents back in 1995 because she was so overwhelmed, the New Yorker beauty told the crowd that she brought her mother as her date this year to express her gratitude.

During the speech, Claire also credited her husband Hugh Dancy as another person who played important part in her success. The actress, who looked stunning in a J. Mendel dress and Bulgari jewels, thanked him for "keeping me sane and happy as I play a person who is not so sane and not so happy."

In order to get the title, Claire had to compete against four other TV stars. Her competitors were the leading lady of "The Killing" Mireille Enos, "The Good Wife" star Julianna Margulies, "Revenge" actress Madeleine Stowe, and "Necessary Roughness" beauty Callie Thorne.

In addition to Claire, other stars who brought home prizes in TV field were Laura Dern and Kate Winslet. The former received Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical, while the latter grabbed Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini - Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.
