Avril Lavigne Reportedly Breaks Up With Brody Jenner

Avril Lavigne reportedly has called it quits with her boyfriend Brody Jenner. The "Wish You Were Here" singer broke up with the stepbrother of Kim Kardashian because she allegedly vetoed multiple TV show offers that he had received.
A source told Us Weekly, "Every time he wanted to come back and take meetings to get his career back in order, she would make him go to Asia and Europe." The source added, "He hasn't worked and he wants to. They were both unhappy because he wants to have his career, she wants him to stay with her."
Another insider told Life & Style that their relationship ended because "she wanted to settle down, but he wasn't exactly ready." The insider spilled, "They had been having problems starting in the summer with her tour because she was on the road all the time. It put a strain on their relationship."
Even though their relationship went sour, the Us Weekly source explained that there might be a chance for the pop/rock singer and the former star of "The Hills" to get back together. "Brody is trying to set the ground rules and wants to be able to work. They have to find a balance," said the insider.
Avril started dating Brody a few months after splitting from her then-husband, Deryck Whibley. The "My Happy Ending" hitmaker filed for divorce from the Sum 41 frontman three years after tying the knot with him in July 2006.
