The ‘Twilight Saga’ trio have their hand and footprints immortalized in cement at a Walk of Fame ceremony held outside the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were all smiles as they received the honor of having their hand and footprints immortalized in cement. The “Twilight Saga” trio attended the special ceremony held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday, November 3.
Rob sported a formal look as he donned two-piece suit for the event. When taking the podium, the actor famous for his portrayal of Edward Cullen joked, “This is incredibly scary. I also forgot how hot L.A. was, I shouldn’t have worn a suit.”
On the serious note, the 25-year-old heartthrob gushed, “This is such an incredible honor. How young we are, it’s kind of ridiculous and amazing at the same time. It’s all thanks to you guys who drive the franchise forward. You should all come up here and put your hands in!”
Kristen, meanwhile, looked pretty in a Marios Schwab short black and tan dress. Before putting her feet on the cement for the imprint session, she was seen slipping out her Brian Atwood stilettos and traded them with a pair of checkered Vans sneakers.
“I’ve been so enamored by this business, I think this is the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my life,” said the actress who plays Bella Swan in the film series in her speech. “This is insane that I’m doing this and I think they should start talking now.”
Taylor, on the other hand, looked pretty casual in a black shirt and matching denims. “There are a few moments that mean just so much,” the Jacob Black depicter said on the podium. “It’s really even hard to explain. This is definitely one of those. This is really like a dream. It’s such an honor.”
Jimmy Kimmel served as the emcee , while “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer was on hand to introduce the trio. Saying a few words of praise for the actors who had brought her characters to the big screen, she shared, “I’m excited for them and I’m also very proud of them.”
“Their lives have changed a lot in the last few years and they’ve done it with such class and an amazing ability to just stay balanced and stay who they are, which I think is a really rare and amazing talent.”
Rob, Kristen and Taylor will be seen in “The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part I” when the fourth installment in the “Twilight Saga” series hits U.S. theaters on November 18. They will return as Edward, Bella and Jacob once again when “The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part II” opens wide on November 16, 2012.
