In the photo, baby Tristyn is seen sleeping beside his mother, Mariah Yeater, who broke the shocking news that she has given birth to Justin’s child on July 6. On Monday, October 31, the 20-year-old fan filed a paternity lawsuit against the “Baby” hitmaker, claiming that she and the pop idol had a sexual intercourse after his gig at L.A. Staples Center on October 25.
“On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy. That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber,” Mariah told the judge. “Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby.”
Justin’s rep, however, quickly shot down the rumors, insisting that Mariah’s confession was not true. “While we haven’t yet seen the lawsuit, it’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims,” said the rep. “We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegation.”
The Canadian singer, who’s currently dating Disney darling Selena Gomez, later took to his Twitter to respond to the issue. On November 2, the “Never Say Never” singer wrote, “All the rumors…the gossip….Im gonna focus on the positives….the music.” He added in a following tweet, “So Im going to ignore the rumors…and focus on what is real. An opportunity to help by doing what i love. Judge me on the music! Love yall!”
