The ‘Monte Carlo’ star and her Canadian heartthrob boyfriend reportedly decided to keep a puppy from an animal shelter in Winnipeg on Friday, October 21.Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have become adopted parents to a puppy. The lovey dovey couple decided to keep a husky cross puppy they picked from D’Arcy’s Animal Rescue Center in Winnipeg, Canada on Friday, October 21.

A volunteer at the shelter told Hollywood Life, “Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were her this afternoon playing with the dogs and puppies for over an hour.” The source explained, “They expressed an interest adopting one of the dogs. They were both very down to earth and friendly.”

“It’s obvious that they are huge animal lovers and I am happy to see that they are both bright enough to come to an animal shelter instead of a pet store to look for a dog,” the source went on adding. “Justin and Selena are wonderful role models!”

Selena and Justin were recently spotted enjoying their time together in Winnipeg while the “Monte Carlo” actress is scheduled to hold a concert on Friday, October 21 as part of her We Own the Night Tour in Canada. Justin has reportedly rented out a movie theater in the city on October 20 to have a special date with his girlfriend.

An insider of the movie theater revealed details of Justin’s plans with his girlfriend. “I overheard Justin saying he wanted to take Selena ice-skating and then to an NHL hockey game this Saturday night to watch the Winnipeg Jets game versus the Carolina Hurricanes,” so said the source.
