The upcoming episode of the CW hit series will follow Ian’s Damon who asks Kat Graham’s Bonnie to help him find the reason behind ghosts’ surprising power after his violent encounter with the spirit.Ian Somerhalder’s Damon deals with an angry spirit in a promo video for “The Vampire Diaries” season 3 episode 7. In the upcoming episode that will air Thursday, October 27 on The CW, Damon asks Kat Graham’s Bonnie to find the reason behind ghosts’ surprising power after he had a violent encounter with the spirit.

The next episode, which is titled “Ghost World”, will see the Mystic Falls being invaded by spirits of the dead as the town prepares to celebrate the traditional Illumination Night. It will also follow Matt Davis’s Alaric who discovers a long-hidden clue to the past.

Meanwhile, Nina Dobrev’s Elena tries to convince Steven R. McQueen’s Jeremy to use his connection to the other worl to find a new way to reach Paul Wesley’s Stefan. However, the decision leads Jeremy to a terrible choice.
