In response to recent report that the ‘Twilight Saga’ heartthrob is preparing to put together a record, his representative offers clarification by stating, ‘He is not working on an album right now.’Robert Pattinson is not recording an album. Debunking swirling rumors that the Edward Cullen of the “Twilight Saga” film series is preparing to put together a record of his own, a representative for the English heartthrob claimed the otherwise. “The report is untrue. He is not working on an album right now,” so the rep told MTV News.
Earlier, Us Weekly reported that the rumored boyfriend of Kristen Stewart will record an album imminently. “Rob has been kicking a few original songs around for a long time, but his schedule didn’t allow it,” a so-called insider told the site. “Now he’s got some weeks to get everything in line before going back to promoting ‘Breaking Dawn’.”
Another source added, “The album Rob will make will be guitar-based and drums, very organic-sounding, nothing pop.” The source additionally explained, “Like stripped-down Ray LaMontagne meets Van Morrison.”
Rob himself has previously contributed two songs, “Never Think” and “Let Me Sign”, on the “Twilight” soundtrack album. Back in August, he was spotted at a Los Angeles recording studio, fueling speculation that he was recording for the soundtrack of two “Breaking Dawn” films.
According to his co-stars, the 25-year-old actor always brought his guitar when filming the “Twilight Saga”. The “Cosmopolis” star even taught his on-screen brother Kellan Lutz how to play guitar in between breaks.
“I picked up the guitar now that I have some down time,” Kellan once told L.A. Times. “I got a couple of books and some iPad apps, but I get to work with Rob and Jackson [Rathbone] on all these movies, who are brilliant musicians. I get to learn from talented people… I can’t sing for crap, but I enjoy picking up hobbies.”
