After the Royal Couple’s North American tour, fashion experts are still buzzing about the Duchess’ slim figure, and some of them say Kate “could be” a model.
Since losing her weight and dropping from a size 10 to 2, critics have been looking at Catherine’s physique and saying it could pass for a model. Celebrity news site The Daily Mail sought the assistance of a modeling agency to guess the Duchess’ body measurements. According to the model experts, Catherine’s body is somewhat on the range of 32-24-35, the same measurements Kate Moss had during the peak of her modeling career.
“With those measurements and her height, Kaye definitely could be a model”, said the model expert in a report posted at Nine MSN. Although the Duchess clearly has the body of a top model, it’s safe to say Catherine won’t be involved in modeling activities. It was said that the Duchess wanted to travel to North America without a stylist or a dresser, because according to Catherine herself, it is “unnecessary” and a “waste of money”. In some photos caught during the Royal couple’s visit to California, the Duchess looked slim and much slender next to skinny actresses Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon. Plum Sykes, a contributing editor for Vogue magazine said “It’s not necessarily that she is too thin – and I don’t think she is – it’s that expensive, well-cut clothes make you look taller and thinner” in the same Nine MSN report. “That’s the whole point of them. By wearing floaty dresses in expensive fabrics that emphasize her narrowest point – her waist – she outshines everyone else” continues the fashion expert in the same interview. Sykes ended her statement with the Duchess’ best trait that makes her look like a model. “She has the advantage of youth”.
