Although he doesn't mind being nicknamed 'Country Bieber', the season 10 winner of 'American Idol' still points out that he and the 'Baby' hitmaker have 'two different styles'.The new "American Idol", Scotty McCreery, has found it cool to be compared to pop sensation Justin Bieber. The season 10 winner has earned himself the nickname of "Country Bieber" for his boyish good looks. In recent interview, he admitted that he doesn't mind the comparison.

When asked about his new moniker, the 17-year-old crooner told MTV News with a smile on his face, "Country Bieber ... I mean, Justin Bieber is the epitome of [a] big star, so it was cool for me." He went on to explain why he is baffled by the comparison, "I mean, Justin's a whole lot further ahead than I am ... so, I guess it's mainly because of our age."

While Scotty can't really understand the reason why, runner-up Lauren Alaina pointed out, "Girls love Scotty McCreery like they love Justin Bieber. It's true." To which, Scotty replied, "Thank you, Lauren," before adding, "I just figure it's because of our age. Me and Justin are pretty much two young guns."

Scotty has dropped his country debut single "I Love You This Big" days after winning "Idol". With it, he scored the highest chart debut for a new artist on Billboard Hot Country Songs chart by landing at No. 32. The singer, who has just inked a record deal with Mercury Nashville, will be one of those present at this year's CMT Awards on June 8.
