Demi Lovato Slams Weight Loss Ad on Twitter

The 'Princess Protection Program' star sounds off her protest against a weight loss commercial, tweeting 'Not to eat to see results? Really disappointed.'Demi Lovato blasted a weight loss ad because she thought it could bring a negative effect on young people. The "Sonny with a Chance" darling, who recently entered rehab for dealing with eating disorders, took to her Twitter to share her disagreement towards the weight loss commercial for "Fiber-One bars."

The 18-year-old starlet angrily tweeted on Sunday, "Just saw a commercial for Fiber-One bars.. Their slogan literally was 'Hungry, no. Results, yes.' Seriously.. ." She added her criticism, writing "What are we teaching people by saying that? Not to eat to see results? Really disappointed."

The brunette beauty, who recently revealed that her mother got a "Stay Strong" wrist tattoo to support her, followed her tweet with another message, "Yes losing weight for some people can be healthy, but it's commercials like that, that led me into thinking that not eating is okay. It's NOT." She continued, " There's too much pressure on people these days to lose weight.. ."

Demi has been very vocal about eating disorder issue. She has recently make "StayStrongDemiLovato" as a trending topic on Twitter to inspire youngsters to stay confident with their body. She once wrote, "I wish there wasn't so much pressure on society to be thin.. It makes recovery so much harder. #stayingstrong."
