Judge Greg Mathis is reportedly the subject of a criminal investigation for assault after he allegedly spit in a valet’s face.
According to TMZ, Mathis went all the off on a valet in a “profanity-laced schooling” at Flood’s Bar and Grille in Detroit after he was left waiting for his Rolls Royce for at least 10-15 minutes.
Sources say Mathis’ anger grew when the valet explained he had to travel a long way to get another car and apologized for accidentally taking his keys with him.
After cursing the guy out, Mathis allegedly spit on him and left the scene.
The valet filed a police report accusing Mathis of criminal assault, and police are said to be investigating the incident, which was reportedly seen by multiple witnesses.
Judge Mathis allegedly spitting on someone is interesting, considering he’s presided over at least once case where spitting on someone was an issue.
