Much is still unknown about Rihanna’s romance with Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel, but it seems the couple have been together way longer than we previously believed. A source tells Us Weekly the two “have been hooking up for a few months.”
Rihanna and Hassan were first spotted together last month. The two were photographed making out about and being quiet intimate in the pool of her private vacation villa in Ibiza. They were later spotted in public buying coffee and laughing.

When the kissing in the pool photos revealed their relationship in June, many wondered if the they were dating of it was just a fun fling. A source told Page Six the relationship was getting serious.
“This relationship is the real deal. Rihanna has told friends she’s in love with him and seems completely smitten. They’ve been spending a lot of time together away from prying eyes and are really serious. They’re really enjoying each other’s company.”
Rihanna picked a good one to get serious with. At 27, Hassan Jameel is the deputy president and vice chairman of his family’s company. Abdul Latif Jameel Domestic is the exclusive distributor of Toyota cars in Saudi Arabia. The family is reportedly worth $1.5 billion and Hassan will inherit the fortune.
While his looks and fortune are both quite enticing, they might not be the only reasons Rihanna was drawn to Hassan. In a 2015 interview, she revealed that she was attracted to men who are cultured.
“I’m turned on by guys who are cultured. They don’t have to have a single degree, but they should speak other languages or know things about other parts of the world or history or certain artists or musicians. I like to be taught.”
And from the looks of those pool pics, Hassan seemed to be teaching Rihanna a few things. Jokes aside, Rihanna has not been too lucky in love. Hopefully, this relationship (which has been kept private for the most part) is what she’s been waiting for.
