Veteran NFL nose tackle for the New England Patriots Vince Wilfork recently posed for ESPN’s latest “Body Issue,” and is ready to use this as a platform for his next career: modeling.

Wilfork has been announced as the cover star for ESPN’s 2016 Boddy Issue.

The 325-pound lineman is one of the best defensive players in recent years, and it appears his confidence transcends the gridiron. Wilfork made a statement regarding his nude shoot for ESPN recently, saying:

“A lot of people look at me as a big person. Some people consider me to be obese. Some people consider me to be fat and sloppy. But I think this shoot will give people a different look at what I am.”

But he didn’t stop there. In preparation for the grand release, Wilfork took to Twitter to enlist the help of fellow Patriot Tom Brady. He asked his quarterback to get his wife, model Giselle Bündchen, to hook him up with some modeling contacts to jumpstart his post-NFL career.

Say what you will about the man, but at least he’s got more confidence than Shaq, who recently took to photoshopping his head onto D-Wade’s body as pictured in the same Body Issue Wilfork is in.
