Prince Protégé Judith Hill Talks Legendary Singer’s Emergency Plane Landing

She was on Prince's plane when it suddenly touched down on April 15th so the late musician could receive emergency medical attention, and now Judith Hill has broken her silence about the ordeal.

In a new interview with the New York Times, the longtime friend/fellow musician explained that she was having dinner with the “Purple Rain” singer when he fell unconscious- "We knew it was only a matter of time; we had to get down. We didn't have anything on the plane to help him."

Once in the hospital, Prince agreed to stay the night even though he insisted he felt fine- "He wasn't dreary or drowsy or anything. He wanted to watch Zootopia. He loved those films. I was going to pull it up on my phone. He said: 'No, no, no, not here. We're going to pick a special time and place to watch that.' He was very cooperative that whole night. Serious about getting help."
