He has a top-notch security system and plenty of bodyguards, and even still Simon Cowell fell prey to a crafty cat burglar on Friday (December 4).
The former “American Idol” judge was at home in his Holland Park estate with his partner Lauren Silverman and their son Eric at 2:20am when the home’s alarm began ringing.
According to reports, the perpetrator was able to find the key to Cowell’s vault and made off with hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry, cash and family heirlooms. Simon and his family were thankfully unaware of the incident until bodyguards woke them and everyone stayed safe.
