Demi Lovato Steps Up to the Plate to Replace Ariana Grande as MLB All-Star Concert Headliner

It’s been a crazy week for organizers of the Major League Baseball All-Star shindig, given that original headliner Ariana Grande pulled out at the last minute, citing her wisdom tooth removal procedure.

But thankfully, Demi Lovato has answered the call to perform in place of the “Problem” songstress. She told press, "I'm so excited to be headlining the MLB All-Star Concert. I hope my fans in Cincinnati are ready to get ‘Cool for the Summer!'"

MLB chief operating officer Tony Petitti added, "Demi Lovato is one of today's best young artists and we know she will provide fans with a fantastic experience they won't soon forget. We're disappointed that Ariana Grande cannot partake in the All-Star festivities, but wish her a speedy recovery."
