She’s best-known for her runway prowess, but it turns out Lily Aldridge is quite the athletics enthusiast as well.
The 29-year-old Victoria’s Secret Angel is featured on the front of the July 2015 issue of Self magazine and in her cover story she admits, “I always thought I was going to be a soccer player, get a scholarship to college and then join the U.S. women’s team. Mia Hamm was my role model. I still look up to her.”
And it sounds like Lily had a blast doing the Self magazine photo session- “This was one of the most fun shoots I’ve had. It’s different for me to get to be athletic and look like the strong woman I am. I was so sore the next day, I could barely walk. I realized I have to do more cardio!”
