While breast augmentation is pretty common these days, Melissa Gilbert decided to actually have her implants removed.
In a new blog post, the “Little House on the Prairie” starlet explained that she began with “perfect A cup” lady pillows and they grew to a size C when she was pregnant. However, after she stopped breastfeeding, Melissa noticed that her boobs lost their luster. “They were lower… much, much lower,” she wrote, adding that her ex-husband called them “socks full of marbles with knots at the top.”
After 12 years of having the implants, Gilbert discovered that she had to get them replaced, and that was enough to end the whole ordeal. “It was possible that at 80 years old I might have to get new implants!”
"The bottom line...or top line… is that; A. I am concerned for my health and 2. I don't like the way they look or feel. Frankly, I'd like to be able to take a Zumba class without the fear that I'll end up with two black eyes."
