It’s one of the biggest nights of the year for the film and television industries, so it’s no wonder Lena Dunham, Allison Williams and Zosia Mamet were in the house for the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards earlier this evening (January 11).
Surrounded by all kinds of top celebrities, the “Girls” gals garnered plenty of attention as they paraded around in their red carpet finery.
Once again, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are tag-teaming the hosting duties, following outstanding reviews over the past two years. And this time around the Cecil B. DeMille award will go to George Clooney. HFPA President Theo Kingma explained, “It didn’t take us long to pick him. He is someone who’s made big contributions to both film and TV, and who is beloved by the industry. There is also the other George Clooney, a man who has used his platform to make us aware of places like Sudan. It’s an incredible combination.”
