Sex and the City fans have spent years campaigning for a third movie, but whilst we'd love to see Carrie and the girls dust off their stilettos for one final hurrah, John Corbett has set his sights a little higher.
John, 53, played Aiden, the furniture designer and 'one who got away' in the hit series, and whilst he may have blown his chances with Carrie aka Sarah Jessica Parker, he'd love to see what could have been with some brand new episodes. "There's a lot of story left to tell with those women and if HBO got it together, I'd like to see the show come back for a couple of seasons like The Comeback," he told E! News. "I'd like to see them come back for, you know, eight or 10 episodes a year for a couple of more years.”
Referring to SJP, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, he added, “We want to see them. Those girls are amazing actors and there are so many stories to tell even as well age and get older. You know when I started that - I'm almost 54 now - when I got that job I was 39. Time moves along. I want to see those girls as I'm into my 50s. I want to see them into my 60s."

But as wonderful as it would be to see the girls back on our screens for two more years, we think John may be being slightly overambitious. A third movie, however, is not entirely out of the question, as whilst no one has officially confirmed the news, SJP recently dropped a pretty big hint that a movie would be made.
Back in October, Kristin tweeted her former co-star saying "@SJP Miss YOU XOXOXO!!” SJP replied, "@KristinDavis Me too you! Heard the news? X" To which Kristen responded, "@SJP Yyyeessssss…But I'm afraid to get TOO excited yet - You let me know when we can celebrate. XO."
In the same month, Jennifer Hudson, who played Carrie's assistant in the film, also teased fans, telling Dish Nation, "I think it might be [happening]. Somebody just came to me talking about that. So if it's in the talks, it might happen. So look out for your girl Louise from St. Louis."
