He’s always up for a challenge, and Channing Tatum can’t wait for his fans to see him in a bona fide “X-Men” project. The “22 Jump Street” hunk took to his Facebook page on Monday (January 5) to tell the world that he’ll soon suit up as the card-throwing Gambit.
Channing wrote, “How do you say October 7, 2016 in Cajun?” referencing Gambit’s origins in New Orleans, following the May 2014 announcement by “X-Men” producer Lauren Shuler Donner.
Therefore, both “X-Men: Apocalypse” and “Gambit” will hit theaters in 2016, making for quite the comic-filled calendar!
