Salaries Of James Franco & Seth Rogen Leaked: Could It Be North Korea?

The salaries of The Interview actors James Franco and Seth Rogen have been leaked after Sony pictures was hacked last week.

The leaks - unveiled on file-sharing site Pastebin - show the fee each actor was paid for the upcoming movie. According to Inside Movies, Seth took home more than $8.4 million for the movie which he co-wrote, co-directed and starred in. James is believed to have made $6.5 million for his part in the film, which reportedly cost $44 million to make.

Perhaps the most surprising revelation to emerge from the leak was that Britney Spears' ex Kevin Federline was paid $5,000 for his cameo in the film. It's thought that more stolen data will soon be released.

Executive pay, social security numbers and scripts for upcoming shows have also been leaked. On Thursday a North Korean diplomat denied that the country was behind the security breach, according to the BBC. The country were thought to have violated the movie giant after they took offence to Seth's new movie. The movie, which is out this month, follows two reporters who manage to land an interview with dictator Kim Jong-un. But their plans change when the CIA enlist them to assassinate Kim. North Korea previously complained about the plot to the United Nations, describing the project as "the most disguised sponsoring of terrorism as well as war action."

Other leaked info from the film - released by a hacker group who call themselves 'The Guardians of the Peace' - includes $250 reportedly alloted for a prop described as a "table of weed, coke, pills and panties," but cost $241.

The hackers began their attack on Sony Pictures on Nov. 24, leaking watermarked copies of the studio's upcoming films, including Fury and Annie. The Guardians of the Peace also sent a warning to the studio's employees that internal data would be made public "if you don't obey".
