Even though she’s one of England’s hottest exports, Keira Knightley still has to deal with fans confusing her with one of her famous peers. In a new interview with the Daily Telegraph, the “Love Actually” starlet shares that she gets mistaken for Anne Hathaway, which actually worked out when the “Dark Knight Rises” actress pulled out of “Laggies” and producers called her to fill in.
Knightley explains, "She dropped out very late in the process and they were scrambling a bit to find somebody and I was...well, I didn't have anything. Stylistically, it's completely different from what I had been doing previously so it was very much 'jump in and hope for the best.'"
"Actually I think I have to apologize to Anne Hathaway because the woman (at the airport) thought I was being really rude as Anne Hathaway not giving her a picture as Anne Hathaway but I was really only saying that I promised I wasn't Anne Hathaway — which I am not."
