‘Hell No!’: Lindsay Lohan Will Never Move Back To Los Angeles

In and out of rehab countless times during her twenties, Lindsay Lohan has battled some serious demons in her time but it seems her move to London earlier this year has helped the actress to quit her bad habits and do the growing up she needed.

The former child star moved to the city to star in new play 'Speed the Plow', but what initially seemed to be a temporary move looks to have since become a permanent one after the Mean Girls star vowed to never return to Los Angeles.

In a recent interview with The Guardian, the 28-year-old compared her life in L.A. to her current life in London, and while it's often referred to as the City of Angels, it seems L.A. was merely the City of Demons for Lohan. "I won't live in L.A. again, hell now," she told the site. "My friends tell me s**t when they come over I don't want to hear. I don't even know who got married and who got pregnant. You turn on the news in L.A. and it is all gossip about people... I love the BBC. I haven't heard myself mentioned on TV since I have been here. That has been really weird for me, and great."

Speaking of her life back in Hollywood, Lindsay said, "In L.A. I didn't know what to do apart from go out every night. That's when my friends were free. And I would go out and there would be all these cameras there and that's when it became difficult." But it seems the Liz & Dick star's hopes of developing a better life in London have since become a reality. "I can go for a run here on my own," she explained. "I do every morning, early, and I think how my friends in New York would still be up partying at that time. I needed to grow up and London is a better place for me to do that than anywhere else."

In the candid interview, Lindsay revealed that her most defining moment was when she holidayed in Greece earlier this year. "It was the first time I have ever just been on a vacation by myself," she shared. "I just wandered about on my own! I turned off my phone. It was so extraordinarily freeing for me. Like another life."

LiLo has extended the lease on her London home for another year and a source recently told the Mail Online that, despite finishing up Speed the Plow, the starlet has accquired more work in the city. "She will be filming a movie in London so she needs to be based here for a while," the insider said.
