Vlogmas 2014 is almost upon us folks which means everyday YouTube will be filled with festive frolics, wintery antics and Christmas cheer from your favourite bloggers, but for those of you who have no idea what we're talking about, prepare to become totally addicted to the new-age reality show.
What does Vlogmas mean? Kicking off on December 1, YouTube stars such as Zoella, Alfie and Beauty Crush, will be bringing their cameras around with them everywhere they go, to film exactly what they get up to each day until December 25. That could be putting up their Christmas tree decorations, visiting Winter Wonderland, baking festive treats or regular activities like, being silly with their friends and going shopping. If you're lucky, some even carry on vlogging until New Year's Day! (Side note: Vlogging = video blogging)
It's basically just like a regular vlog but is everyday and just so much happier!
Who started Vlogmas? Rumour has it that TheGridMonster, a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogger, kicked it off in 2011, launching what is now a tradition for the most brave YouTube stars who usually post the videos on what is called their ‘;second channel' - the account where they post their unofficial everyday life activities as opposed to their ‘;main channel' which is reserved for the make-up tutorials etc.

Those who take part in Vlogmas always make it clear that's it's not an easy task - imagine trying to think of interesting things to do for 25 days, film it all and edit the footage every single day. We're not naming names but there are some who have missed out days or just given up altogether - can't say we blame them though!
So with just a week to go, the countdown is on but who should you be watching this Vlogmas?
ZOELLA:
The Vlogmas queen! Zoe is the biggest YouTube star in the UK with more than 6.5 million subscribers - and counting - on her main channel, and more than 301 million views. Expect plenty of cameos from her BFFs Tanya Burr, Sprinkle of Glitter and of course, her adorable boyfriend Alfie aka Pointless Blog.
Who couldn't do with Tanya's cheery disposition every day in the run-up to Christmas? Tanya's Vlogmas got a little exotic in 2013 as she and her boyfriend Jim Chapman headed to Dubai for a winter getaway. Where will they go this year?
POINTLESS BLOG:
Alfie is just an adorable Christmas present wrapped in himself and you'll get to unwrap him every day for a month when his Vlogmas starts. He's just bought a new house with girlfriend Zoella (see above) so Christmas will be extra special in the Sugg-Deyes household. The couple are also heading to New York this December as a late birthday present from Zoe to Alfie for his 21st so expect some awesome videos from these two.
BEAUTY CRUSH:
Sammi is an absolute trooper when it comes to Vlogmas and is usually pretty active with activities including ice skating and meeting up with her friends all around London. She's also a keen baker at this time of year and will have some awesome recipes for you to copy.
SPRINKLE OF GLITTER:
Louise's Vlogmas is one of our favourites to watch as we get to see her three-year-old Darcy get excited about Father Christmas, decorating the tree and opening her presents. Seriously cuteness overload! Who remembers the " target="_blank">Baby Glitter Christmas look book?! We do believe Louise, her hubby Matt, and Darcy are also heading to Disney World in Orlando this December too and we can all go along with them!
ESSIEBUTTON:
Essie is one of the loveliest YouTubers around and her Vlogmas' are usually hilarious from eventful shopping trips to trying to do DIY. Her adorable grandma even made a cameo appearance in a 2013 vlog. Essie usually likes to meet up with other vloggers too so keep an eye out for some familiar faces - she's well connected.
DULCE CANDY:
Dulce is awesome by herself but you'll get to know her family through Vlogmas and it'll leave you feeling all wintery and Christmassy. From hosting Christmas parties to appearing on Project Runway, Dulce always has something fun going on so indulge in her glamorous world.
PSYCHO SOPRANO:
It's Miranda! Well, Coleen Ballinger actually, her real name. When she's not dressed as her hilarious alter-ego Miranda, Coleen likes to blog as her normal self but she's still as entertaining.
FLEUR DE VLOG:
Last year, the lovely Fleur de Force headed to New York and even had Christmas at Disney - we're absolutely jealous - so it'll be a mistake if you miss out on all the action she has in store this year as she never disappoints.
