Their marriage may be over but Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey will still be spending the holidays together. In a new interview with In Touch Weekly, Nick confirmed that he and his estranged wife plan to come together over Christmas to take their three-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan on a holiday vacation.
“Gotta keep that going,” Nick told the magazine of the family's holiday traditions. “I want to make sure we have a wonderful holiday together, somewhere cold and snowy, like Aspen [Colorado].”
Nick and Mariah split in August after six years of marriage, but Nick says that they are still in constant contact with each other, due to their children.

“We talk and text every day," he said. “My children are my No. 1 priority. Everything I do is for them. I just want to be the best father I can possibly be.”
During a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra host Charlie Sloth, Nick revealed that, while he and Mariah are still close, there is nothing romantic going on between them anymore.
“We are friends but we will be friends for life,” he said of Mariah.
Currently, the couple's children are on tour with Mariah. Earlier this month, the twin tots joined their mother on stage at her Auckland, New Zealand, tour show. Nick has said in numerous interviews that the kids are doing great, despite their parents' split.
"They just love mommy and daddy so there is nothing different for them,” he told MSN's Wonderwall .
