Jamie Dornan Will See You Now: The Second Fifty Shades Of Grey Trailer Is Here

It's been nearly four months since the first Fifty Shades of Grey trailer landed and finally Universal have unleashed the second, which sees Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in some more fan favourite locations from the book (Clayton's!) and of course getting down and dirty.

The new trailer debuted on US telly during Thursday night's episode of Scandal and dropped online simultaneously. Cue meltdown on our Twitter timeline.

At two minutes 27 seconds long we've got a lot of new shots of Jamie and Dakota including a look at the book favourite scene at the hardware store and a further look at exactly what goes on in that Red Room! There's also a play on that poster and teaser we had a few days ago of Christian getting dressed and picking out the perfect silk tie, as the new footage opens with the two preparing for thier first meeting at Grey Enterprises.

The other big star of the trailer is Beyonce, who's track Crazy in Love (a slowed down remix) featured in the first trailer while she's also been teasing the film through her personal Instagram, hinting at a key role in at least curating the soundtrack. Her tune Haunted plays throughout the new trailer, with that same song used when Universal screened footage for industry bigwigs at Comic Con earlier this year.

The second trailer really marks the start of the big promo push for the movie which will be opening in February. It's less than 100 days until the film lands in cinemas so expect Universal to be stepping up the teasers in the coming months. Up until now there's been long, agonising gaps in between each trailer release and each poster reveal but with just a couple of months to go we're betting on an amped up campaign to really get us in the mood for Jamie and Dakota's debut on the big screen.

That should hopefully also mean more actual interviews with the stars who have stayed pretty quiet on the whole FSOG phenomenon over the past year. Jamie has steered clear of mentioning the film too much when he's been doing recent interviews about The Fall, and that chat with the stars on Today when they launched the first trailer was very brief. Fingers crossed Jamie will also use this time to start teasing his biggest part to date on his own Instagram and Twitter too!

In the meantime we'll be watching this second trailer on repeat until breakfast time...
