FKA Twigs Sees Career Soar, Doesn’t Leave Much Time For Robert Pattinson Romance

FKA Twigs made her debut on US TV this week, with a performance on Jimmy Fallon. This was a huge deal for the star, whose debut album LP1, only came out in August. The long and the short of it, is Twigs is currently hot property and there's a good chance she could blow up in the US.

The 26 year-old is not only talented, cool and incredibly beautiful she's also an absorbing performer and not the kind of person you'd forget easily, exactly the kind of act music is crying out for. She's a fresh, new talent who will appeal to the non-Taylor Swift types, who want something a bit different.

But what does this mean for her relationship with Robert Pattinson? The pair have been dating since August, another selling point sure to raise her profile in the US and seem pretty happy. Twigs said so herself at the Mercury Prize last week (of which she was nominated for), so we know things are good between them.

Twigs has got a busy few months coming up. She'll be touring until December around the US and heading to Singapore and Australia in January, before returning to Europe in February. So if they want to see each other, let's hope their schedules don't clash.

Joining Twigs on tour would probably be something music-lover Rob wouldn't mind doing though, as he's previously admitted he's not bothered about a nomadic lifestyle. He's got some free time right now, after his new movie Idol's Eye got cancelled, so we hope the hunk takes advantage of it to spend some quality time with his girlfriend.

There have been rumours that Rob wanted to give up living in LA after seven years and return to the UK, something "insiders" claimed was to do with his new romance. Twigs is based in London currently, which would explain why Rob would be keen to spend more time this side of the pond, but as British music fans knows, as soon as an act starts to do well in the US, they usually disappear over the pond for an extended amount of time.

This would go against what Rob has been saying recently about getting out of Hollywood. Speaking to Yahoo Movies recently, he admitted it was an "alien" place to live in.

"I think there's definitely something alien about [Hollywood], mainly because people who act, they're just people who ... they examine themselves a lot more and like to talk about it. "And I think if you're spending a lot of time being self-obsessed you just end up being kind of a weirdo."

But, we're sure he wouldn't mind if Twigs was there!
