Elle Fanning Changes Things Up for Transgender Role in “Three Generations”

Kicking off the week with a long day on the job, Elle Fanning reported for duty on the set of “Three Generations” on Monday (November 10).

The “We Bought a Zoo” babe smiled while filming scenes in Central Park, New York City, sporting baggy black trousers and an oversized green jacket.

In the movie, Elle plays Ray, a transgender teenager who is transitioning from female to male, and she certainly looked different in her new cropped dark coif.

Also starring Naomi Watts and Susan Sarandon, “Three Generations” is about a mother’s journey through having her daughter become her son.

Of her new appearance, Elle told E!, “I’m so used to having the blonde hair. I’ve had it my whole life so it’s very strange.”
