She’s always happy to talk about her crazy family, and Kris Jenner dropped by the “Today” show this morning (October 20) to check in with Hoda Kotb.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” starlet began by plugging her new book “In The Kitchen with Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites,” which she dedicated to her daughters and grandchildren but failed to mention Bruce Jenner.
Kris explained, "I did it for the kids this time. Bruce and I were getting a divorce. I mean, he's a great guy, but I just did it for the kids and the grandkids."
As for her divorce filing last month, Ms. Jenner noted, "I think that at some point in your life you have to make a decision to do what's right for your family and the kids. I think that we decided to be grown-ups. We decided we're just better apart than we are together but we're still really good friends."
Kris also cleared up the rumors that Bruce is purposefully transitioning his appearance to look like a woman. "It's silly. They've been saying that since the '70s."
"I just want him to be happy. I don't care who he goes out with and I don't know who he's dating. He doesn't check in with me and give me a play-by-play. But it's his life and you just want the guy to be happy. He's still the father of two of my children and so we're friends."
