Making the most of Devil’s Night, Alicia Keys hosted the 11th annual Black Ball at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Thursday evening (October 30).
Joined by famous friends like Madonna and Kanye West, the pregnant “Fallin” songstress was in good spirits as she mingled with guests and prepared for her live performance.
In addition to previously-announced musical acts Nas and Angel Haze, Alicia took the stage with special guest David Byrne of the Talking Heads.
Keys told Billboard, “I’ve always been inspired by David Byrne and his ability to combine music and art, so getting the opportunity to perform with him at this year’s Black Ball is such an honor. David and I have been talking about his new music and what we’re going to perform and just the thought of it is amazing!”
