Aaron Paul Calls Toys R Us Hypocrites for “Breaking Bad” Dolls Removal

Kid-friendly retailer Toys R Us announced that it’s pulling a series of “Breaking Bad” dolls from its shelves after a Florida mother petitioned against the collection and Aaron Paul is not happy.

After the store stated that it’s removing the toys due to the show’s mature plot, the actor who portrayed Jesse Pinkman on the hit AMC series shared his thoughts on Twitter.

“Wait, so @ToysRUs pulled all of the Breaking Bad figures from their shelves and still sells Barbie? Hmmmm...I wonder what is more damaging?” Aaron wrote.

He continued, “And what about all of the violent video games you sell @ToysRUs ? Do you still sell those? Florida mom really messed it up for everyone.”

After his initial tweets, Paul shared a link to a change.org petition calling for the continuation of “Breaking Bad” doll sales at Toys R Us. After he shared the link, more than 12,000 people headed over to the site to sign the document.

Paul isn’t the only “Breaking Bad” star to comment on the Florida mom’s work. Earlier this week, Bryan Cranston joked, “’Florida mom petitions against Toys 'R Us over Breaking Bad action figures.’ I'm so mad, I'm burning my Florida Mom action figure in protest.”
