Always up for some great clothes, Sarah Jessica Parker made an appearance at Pier 36 in New York City for the Lexus Design Disrupted: Gareth Pugh last night (September 4).

The “Sex and the City” actress was in good spirits as she rubbed shoulders with fellow attendees like Maggie Gyllenhaal, who opted for a beautiful blue getup with a flirty pixie cut.

And though Gareth Pugh introduced his Spring 2015 collection during the event, it was definitely more of a performance art exhibition than a fashion runway show.

Lexus’ Brian Bolain gushed, “The show exceeded what I expected. When we went in search of someone to work with, we needed somebody who was going to push the envelope. Instead of searching for someone we would have to convince, he is already there.”
