She loves a good, meaty role and Amy Adams found exactly what she was looking for in the forthcoming flick “Big Eyes.”

In the newly-released teaser trailer, the “American Hustle” actress plays artist Margaret Keane, who became quite popular in the 1950s and 60s for her paintings of children with really large eyes.

Keane’s husband Walter Keane, played by Christoph Waltz, ends up taking credit for the art and together they make a ton of money, however Margaret becomes disillusioned after he completely goes off the deep end.

“Big Eyes” is slated to hit theaters December 25th and also stars Krysten Ritter and Jason Schwartzman.
