As one of the hottest British exports since the Beatles, Ed Sheeran certainly doesn’t have to worry about finding a lovely lady to sing to these days.

In his Cherchez La Femme feature in ELLE magazine, the “Lego House” crooner discusses the popular notion that he’s a sex symbol.

Ed explains, “I wouldn’t say that I am. I think men with guitars who sing sensitive songs will just always have that sort of potential.”

And while he sees losing his virginity as a benchmark in his life, “it wasn’t the best thing I’ve ever done. [That would be] probably selling out Madison Square Garden three times.”

Sheeran also refers to a famous Bill Cosby quote for frequent inspiration- “‘The key to failure is to try and please everyone.’ Be selfish…the rest will follow.”
