Playing a cancer patient has all kinds of challenges and Shailene Woodley found out that having her hair chopped off was initially one of the toughest.

In a new MTV clip, the “Descendants” dame looks on as her hair stylist prepares to snip off her lovely long locks while shooting “The Fault in Our Stars.”

Woodley declares, "I have to see it! I have to see it!” and after the deed is done she laments, “Oh my God! I might cry so hard you guys."

Thankfully, Shailene donated the hair to Children With Hair Loss for a wig and she’s a big fan of her cropped coif. "Now, I love it. It's just free and fun and loud."
