Looking to take her mind off of her failed marriage, Nikki Reed headed over to a fitness center in Los Angeles on Saturday (March 29).

Joined by a gal pal, the “Twilight Saga: New Moon” hottie left her wedding ring at home as she strolled inside in a black tank top with black and teal shorts and a colorful shirt tied around her waist.

Reed and McDonald announced their split over the weekend, deciding to call it quits just three years after getting hitched.

Nikki’s rep told Us Weekly, "After much consideration, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald are ending their marriage. They have been living separately for the past six months due to work obligations. They will continue to share their love of music, and are still working on their debut album, I'm Not Falling, releasing in 2014. They remain best friends and look forward to their continued journey together."

Last week, Ms. Reed sounded a bit fishy on the state of their union, telling press, "We don't have rules, but I think it's just important to focus on what you love."
