Liam Hemsworth Back on “Mockingjay” Set after Mourning Co-Star Philip Seymour Hoffman

They’ve been mourning the loss of co-star Philip Seymour Hoffman this week, but it was time to get back to work on the set of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” this afternoon (February 5).

Liam Hemsworth suited up in his costume to shoot a few scenes in a giant building on the Atlanta, Georgia set while crew members got into place for the busy day.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, “The Hunger Games” team revealed a statement after the tragic death of their co-star Philip.

Director Francis Lawrence and author Suzanne Collins released a statement, saying, “Words cannot convey the devastating loss we are all feeling right now. Philip was a wonderful person and an exceptional talent, and our hearts are breaking. Our deepest condolences go out to his family."

In addition, a Lionsgate Films rep also shared, "Philip Seymour Hoffman was a singular talent and one of the most gifted actors of our generation. We're very fortunate that he graced our Hunger Games family. Losing him in his prime is a tragedy, and we send our deepest condolences to Philip's family."
