Kanye West Rocks the House on “Late Night with Seth Meyers”

Helping to welcome Seth Meyers to the “Late Night” desk, Kanye West showed up on Tuesday night (February 25) for a thrilling performance and interesting interview.

During their chat, the 36-year-old artist discussed how going to the studio now that he’s a father is different than before.

Meyers asked, “Do you think [your daughter North] will be something that inspires your work?” to which West replied, “Yeah, totally. Everything, and my approach to life. It’s changed it.”

Adding in some humor, Seth followed up- "So very kid-friendly songs? Are you the new Wiggles?” Thankfully laughing, Kanye answered, "I think artistic, intellectual kid-friendly songs. Meaning, like, you go to Europe there's nudity on TV. So it's all in the way you're raised and have an understanding and appreciation for what you're looking at, what you're hearing, and why you're hearing it.”

He continued, "If you think about the Yeezus album, cursing was definitely necessary. It would be like if you [asked] Quentin Tarantino, 'You going to make G-rated movies?' It's Quentin Tarantino!"

Kanye also treated the audience to a medley of hits from the entire span of his career including “Jesus Walks,” “Touch the Sky,” “Stronger,” “Heartless,” “All the Lights,” “Mercy” and “Black Skinhead.”
