Judge Praises Amanda Bynes’ Mom on Daughter’s Good Behavior

She took guardianship over her troubled daughter Amanda Bynes last summer, and now a judge shared praise with Lynn Bynes for her constant support.

During a conservatorship hearing in an Oxnard, California court on Tuesday (February 11), the parents of the "Easy A" star met with the judge to discuss the stability of their daughter.

The judge praised Amanda's parents and added, "Good job, Mrs. Bynes. Well done."

Since receiving help from her mother, the 27-year-old actress continued rehab and announced that she is taking classes to to pursue her degree in fashion merchandising.

"She's now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design," Amanda's lawyer Tamar Arminak explained after she finished her inpatient treatment. "She's mentioned before she's interested in creating a clothing line."

In regards to her treatment outside the facility, Arminak stated, "Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She's very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared."
