Upping the girl power quotient for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, living legend Carole King took the Staples Center stage with Sara Bareilles for a very special duet.

The “You’ve Got a Friend” songstress looked amazing as she hammered out her hit “Beautiful” on the piano while Ms. Bareilles looked on with admiration.

Additionally, Sara belted the high notes for her popular track “Brave,” proving her vocal prowess as the audience enjoyed every minute of it.

After they finished their duet, Sara and Carole announced the nominees for Song of the Year and handed the highly-coveted trophy to Lorde!
