Allison Williams Drops by “Today”

Continuing her promotional duties for her hit HBO series “Girls,” Allison Williams paid a visit to the “Today” show on Monday (January 6).

Not letting the subzero temperatures bother her, the 26-year-old actress wore a pink dress with a long gray coat as she made her way into NBC Studios.

During her chat, Miss Williams shared some details about the upcoming season of her HBO series, including the struggles her character Marnie now faces.

“She’s depressed, she’s been dumped, she’s sleeping on her mom’s couch – everything’s terrible,” Allison explained. “I think she’ll need to fall apart completely before she can actually be a human being in a functioning way.”

She continued, “I think the lesson is sort of a warning against perfectionism, and it can actually work against you if you don’t forgive yourself the little things that make you unique – if you want to call them flaws, you may."

"I think Marnie will definitely have to learn to love the parts of herself that aren’t perfect (or) at least acknowledge them. That would be a good start," Allison added.

Miss Williams was also able to get a first look at her new ELLE cover. “Oh my God! This is so exciting. I kind of can’t believe this.”
