They lasted a decade, which is nearly an eternity in the entertainment biz, but Taye Diggs and his wife Idina Menzel have called it quits.

According to the couple's reps, "Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have jointly decided to separate at this time. Their primary focus and concern is for their son. We ask that you respect their privacy during this time."

Back in the '90s, the pair met while performing in the original Broadway production of the musical "Rent."

After dating for quite some time, the two married in 2003 and Idina gave birth to Walker Nathaniel Diggs on September 2, 2009.
