He’s made a name for himself with roles in “Prison Break” and “Heroes” and Robert Knepper is heading to the uber-successful “Hunger Games” franchise for a scary new gig.

The “Mob City” actor will play Antonius, President Snow’s minister in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and 2,” and it’s a role that was created specifically for the movies.

Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Lenny Kravitz, and Elizabeth Banks, “Mockingjay Part 1” follows “Katniss Everdeen as she reluctantly becomes the symbol of a mass rebellion against the autocratic Capitol.”

Meanwhile, “Mockingjay Part 2” covers “Katniss and Peeta’s attempt to win the civil war between the autocratic Capitol and the war-torn Districts of Panem.”
